Jason has been helping individuals, families and businesses with financial planning, portfolio management and business retirement plans since 1998 and holds a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University. Jason founded Labrum Wealth Management in 2009 after spending 12 years gaining industry experience with two major Wall Street brokerage firms. He is dedicated to serving his clients in a fiduciary capacity, acting in their best interests and dedicating himself to developing loyal relationships with them. Jason has served on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad since 2002 and is active in the community. In 2015 he launched Financial Detox®, a consumer advocacy brand with the mission of delivering transparent and simple financial education to the masses. His radio show can be heard on AM760 KFMB. When not pursuing his professional endeavors Jason spends time with his family and enjoying skiing, golfing and surfing.
Kent has been serving financial clients for over 30 years. His first 15 years were with Charles Schwab where he coached people transitioning from using banking products to investing in mutual funds, and helping them develop a prudent plan to meet their financial dreams. For the past 15+ years, Kent has worked exclusively with employer sponsored retirement plans, such as 401(k), helping employers design efficient and cost-effective retirement plans, while helping them meet their fiduciary responsibilities per ERISA. He also has a passion for helping employees understand the benefits of their workplace retirement plan and getting them started on the right track.Kent maintains the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠ (CRPS®) credential, which focuses on designing, installing, and advising company retirement plans. Also, the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) credential, which centers on helping plan fiduciaries manage their roles and responsibilities. As well as the Accredited Investment Fiduciary®(AIF®) credential, which concentrates on Prudent Practices for investment advisors and stewards.
